Meet Bentley

Bentley has been with us since April 13, 2024. He is happy, warm, and loving; playful like a youngster should be and a bit goofy in the best way.

We love it when he does his 360-degree
spins at mealtime and cuts loose with the zoomies at random times of the day.

His most wonderful trait is kindness which makes him a sweet companion with our 14-year-old 7-pound Maltese.

Bentley accepted him right away as part of his pack and now his 56-pound body trails along behind the poky 7 pounder. He is a fast learner and aims to please.

He obeys and respects the rules of his foster home. He is good walking on his leash and is house trained.

Did I mention those expressive caramel eyes?

Bentley enjoys the company of his people and would choose to be by our side but when he is snug in the kennel, out of the Houston heat, he does not bark or beg for attention; he just catches up on his rest. He unexpectedly met our neighbors and sat down (at once, on his own),
then laid on his back for “get to know Bentley” belly rubs.

They were astounded at his sweet demeanor.

Everyone who meets him loves him and wants him to find the perfect forever home.

He is ready to be part of a family, if they like to play fetch with two balls at a time, that would be a bonus.

His ideal home can have another dog, and people who want to hang out with him.

His kind and curious nature make him “the toddler” that brings a smile every time you see him.

He is located in Houston, TX and can be transported to most states for a fee.
